As IT specialists, we can speak the IT language with IT specialists and apply search and assessment methods using specialized IT resources. The same applies to our other skills and competencies — we immediately understand what a candidate does and how successful they are, and if we do not understand, we know how to ask the right questions.
We do not use automated systems: they are imperfect, and their use is harmful. An experienced recruiter needs only a quick look at a CV to assess a candidate. An experienced recruiter knows how to properly describe a vacancy, where to post it, and whom to offer it to — artificial intelligence is not required for this.
We verify documents presented for employment and migration purposes, including diplomas, licenses, certificates, references, recommendations, etc, by contacting the issuing institutions and obtaining official confirmations. We can also research the document issuer and provide a report on it.
Unfortunately, candidates often exaggerate their achievements and present wishful thinking as reality — for example, describing work as a nurse as full medical practice, or makeup services as plastic surgery. These are real cases that we have discovered. Without proper research, it can be difficult to distinguish a provincial university with a long history from an organization issuing questionable diplomas and certificates.
Organizations, both public and private, are generally reluctant to share information and may always refer to personal data protection laws. In most cases, notarized consent from the candidate may be required to obtain information about them. In order not to complicate or delay the procedure or impose additional costs on the candidate, it is necessary to persuade people to assist with verification by convincing them that it is in their own interest.
